JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Switchboard Operator to manage incoming calls and facilitate communication within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess excellent phone etiquette and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. As a key point of contact, you will ensure that all inquiries are handled promptly and efficiently while maintaining a high level of customer service.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Assists medical records with scanning and the mail.
Operate multi-line phone systems to answer, screen, and route incoming calls.
Provide accurate information to callers and assist with inquiries.
Maintain a professional demeanor while communicating with clients, staff, and visitors.
Dispatch calls to appropriate personnel or departments.
Ensure all communications are logged accurately for record-keeping purposes.
Support administrative tasks as needed to enhance office efficiency.
REQUIRED LICENSE, CERTIFICATION, EDUCATION, SPECIALIZED SKILLS
High School diploma or equivalent.
Switchboard or multiline phone experience a plus. Ability to multitask required.
1+ years’ experience working in a multi-provider, electronic medical records environment preferred.
Must be organized, accurate, and customer focused.
Familiarity and understanding of HIPAA regulations and application thereof preferred.
Intermediate computer skills.
