JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Registration Clerk to join our growing clinic. The Registration Clerk is responsible for managing patient registration processes, ensuring accurate documentation, and providing exceptional customer service.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Assist patients with registration criteria and questions.
Verify chart paperwork is complete.
Verify insurance and enter pay codes.
Data entry registration details to create or reactivate chart.
Screen patients for registration.
Perform OB intake process including having patient’s sign financial responsibility letter.
Apply and renew Soonercare benefits for patients and assist with any benefit questions.
Assist with referral related questions.
Manage flags in patient charts.
REQUIRED LICENSE, CERTIFICATION, EDUCATION, SPECIALIZED SKILLS
High school diploma or equivalent.
1+ years experience or technical training in medical billing or medical records.
Basic computer skills.
