JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our growing Medical Team. his role is essential for providing high-quality patient care, conducting thorough assessments, and developing effective treatment plans. The Nurse Practitioner will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history and physical examinations.

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.

  • Perform utilization reviews to assess the necessity of services provided.

  • Manage patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

  • Utilize electronic health record systems such as eClinicalWorks and Cerner for documentation and patient management.

  • Provide care in assisted living facilities and Level I Trauma Centers as needed.

  • Prescribe medications and monitor patient responses to treatments.

  • Educate patients and families on health management, disease prevention, and wellness strategies.

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care delivery.

  • Maintain accurate records of patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes.

REQUIRED LICENSE, CERTIFICATION, EDUCATION, SPECIALIZED SKILLS

  • Bachelors and Master’s Degree requirements to attend an accredited Physician Assistant program or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse program.  Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program or Nurse Practitioner Program.

  • Valid and current Oklahoma PA license or Oklahoma APRN license. 

  • 2+ years clinical experience preferred.

  • BLS CPR certification.

  • Intermediate computer skills and proficiency with electronic health records software.

  • Must be a self-starter, multi-tasker, with ability to effectively give direction to care team.
